Why didnt Jesus spend more time healing people?
The reason why Jesus didnt spend more time healing people is because, He knew there is healing in the "word" that he preaches,the bible say ''He sent his word & heal'' The word is the food for the lost souls so he prefer to preach the good news more. The gospel takes man from sin & sin brings sickness.So He prefer to preach the good news to the lost. Also virtue goes out of him when He heals & has to preach the gospel to renew his healing virtue to heal another time. Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people?
jesus although had very strong compassion to people in need of his healing abilities , but jesus also knew that he didnt have much time among us and much had to be done in the little time left for him, and he understood the importance of preaching as much as healing.he wanted also to cure the spirits of people by preaching to them about the coming of the kingdom of god& telling them what is the way to gain salvation. because Jesus is more things to do like preaching the good news of the kingdom of god to the other cities, to that reason he was sent by the father in heaven to preached the words of God in the synagogues.on the shores and in the mountain or hills, not only by parables but to explain it by examples. Jesus had done many miracles by healing the sick and casting out the demons. At the same time, He was given more importance to preach the gospel. Gospel is the good news. People will become blessed by listening and accepting the word of God. Hence Jesus told ``I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.`` Jesus sent by the Father God to preach the good news of the Kingdom of God. He rose up from the
synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. Simon's mother-in-law was
afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him for her. He stood over her, and rebuked
the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.
When the sun was setting,
all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to him; and
he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. Demons also came out from many,
crying out, and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!"
Rebuking them, he didn't allow them to speak, because they knew that he
was the Christ.
When it was day, he
departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the multitudes looked for
him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn't go away from
them. But he said to
them, "I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of
God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been
sent." He was
preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
