Jesus said certain items belong to God that should be given back (rendered) to God. What are these items?
jesus christ is teaching us about the differentiation of material things to spiritual things, at this very present time I agree that the world is flowing around by financial subject for living, everyone has need to move with money for this, money for that and money for those, but not all the times we are defending on money and we must not forget our lord god for he is greater than money, we need god most specialy if we have a serious problems, god created all wonderful things and money is created by man and sometimes deliver us in hell or any temptations, so we as a christians are partialy defending on money for basic needs, but always remembered our whole life is a gift of god. They sent some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words. When they had come, they asked him, "Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don't defer to anyone; for you aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give?"
But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, "Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it." They brought it.
He said to them, "Whose is this image and inscription?" They said to him, "Caesar's."
Jesus answered them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." They marveled greatly at him.
